Toni Judet - Team PokerStars Romania
Toni Judet Profile
Romanian pro Toni Judet started playing poker after studying at university in Bucharest. Poker isn’t the first game he’s excelled at however, after playing on the pro billiards circuit and winning major championships at venues all over the world. He took up the card game fully in 2005, playing in local events before working his way up the levels to become one of Romania’s most accomplished competitors.
AA look at Toni’s results to date shows that he knows how to win tournaments. His first big victory came in 2008 at a European Poker Tour (EPT) Grand Final side event in Monte Carlo when he took down the €2,000 No Limit Hold’em, good for a huge cash of $247,638. Later that year he proved his poker skills to the world with a deep run at the World Series of Poker* Main Event in Las Vegas. He was part of a massive field of 6,844 players and made it all the way to 22nd place, scooping $257,334 in prize money. His good form continued with more cashes at events around Europe, before his next big score - a tournament win at the CAPT Bregenz Open Main Event, this time banking $141,245 for the win. With a healthy bankroll behind him, Toni is now a regular on the EPT, and a Main Event final table is firmly in his sights.
When Toni isn’t playing elite-level poker tournaments around Europe and beyond he likes to relax and spend time with his family. He’s also interested in sport and travel, and working on his game. Now that he’s joined the best poker site in the business, he’s looking forward to playing all the top live events as well as the big online series.
