Sebastien Chabal

Sebastian Chabal is a cult figure amongst rugby fans around the world. He played for French club CS Bourgoin-Jallieu, and then moved to the UK to play for the Sale Sharks in 2004, proving to be a huge draw for the fans, who gave him the nickname ‘Seabass’. After five successful years in the Guinness Premiership, Sebastien made his return to the French leagues by signing for Paris’ Racing Metro. He also has over 30 caps for the French national team, and was part of the Six Nations winning squad of 2007. His aggressive and hard-hitting style lends itself well to poker, and he’s been clocking up plenty of time online at PokerStars in recent months. He’s also been hitting the live scene, and made the final table of a charity tournament held as part of the EPT Monte Carlo Grand Final in 2009. He plays online using the screen name ‘Chabal’.
