Viktor 'Isildur1' Blom - Team PokerStars Pro
Viktor 'Isildur1' Blom has been the hottest name in poker since appearing on the radar out of nowhere in 2009 to mix it up at the highest limits online and compete against the best in the world. This is a player who's earned six-figure sums at the tables against the toughest and most respected competitors in the game, multi-tabling the nosebleed heads-up games, being part of many of the largest-ever pots and experiencing some of the biggest bankroll swings ever seen.
The outcome has been instant fame and cult status around the world, although the truth about the player's actual identity remained a closely guarded secret for months. Was it a big name pro who wanted to stay anonymous, or how about a young internet hotshot out to prove they can cut it in the big leagues and walk away a winner?
The truth finally came out in early 2011, when the man behind the myth was revealed to be Swedish poker pro Viktor Blom. Since then he's been playing the biggest names in the game, experiencing some huge swings across a range of different games and tables, with fans across the world keeping track of his every move.
Viktor has also been looking to improve his live tournament record since joining Team Pro, and booked a huge win at the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA) in January 2012. He played the $100,000 Super High Roller event and won, beating an epic field to walk away with the title and $1,254,400 in cash.
