Team PokerStars Pro - Chad Brown

Chad Brown
Chad Brown was born in New York City and headed to Hollywood in the early 90s to pursue a career in movies. He struggled to find his big break however, despite finding minor roles in TV and film. Fortunately, Chad was able to supplement his income by playing poker in his spare time and soon realized that he could make a better living at the tables than he could in the Hollywood limelight.
He made his first WSOP* cash in 1993, just missing out on reaching the final table of the $1,500 Limit Hold’em event. In 2002, he finished 3rd in the $1,500 Limit Omaha Hi/Lo event, earning $45,400. Two years later, he almost won his first bracelet, earning $62,320 for finishing 2nd in the $1,500 Seven Card Stud event. The following year, he made the final table of two more World Series events, cashing for a combined total of $288,322. Chad also had a successful run on the WPT in 2006, winning over $450,000 for cash finishes in several events, including a 9th place finish at the $25,000 Championship. He also won $110,345 for finishing 5th at the London leg of the PokerStars European Poker Tour Season 3. In 2007, Chad scored another 2nd place in a World Series tournament, taking home $342,777 in the $5,000 No Limit 2-7 Draw Lowball event. He also finished as runner up at the NBC National Heads Up Championship, winning $250,000. Chad has also been successful online. He won the $5,200 H.O.R.S.E. event in the PokerStars World Championship Of Online Poker in 2006, taking away $223,150.
Away from the table, Chad has hosted several episodes of the Ultimate Poker Challenge TV show. His other passion is baseball and he plays regularly with friends and ex-pros from the professional leagues.
With live tournament earnings of over $2,000,000 already, Chad Brown is one of the most successful players of the last few years. He is a member of Team PokerStars Pro and plays online using the screen name ‘ChadBrownPRO’.
