Click to Launch Error Message

You may notice that some PokerStars.net web pages, emails and game client messages have links on them. When these are clicked, they take you to specific areas of the game software, so that you can easily locate various special features, game types and more.

All the features on the main menu of the client have this feature enabled. Make sure you check back often, as more game software features will be included in the future.

Using click-to-launch is the best way to quickly access everything you need to get the best out of your experience playing at the world’s largest poker site.

You may however sometimes see an error message when you use a click-to-launch link (typically a pop-up box stating that ‘The requested link could not be opened. Click here to know more about PokerStars Click-to-launch feature.’).

This error message is usually because of the following:

The URL is incorrect - if the URL is changed in any way, the link will not work. Therefore always ensure that you do not adapt the target URL of any link you want to use click-to-launch on.

You do not have access to that area of the game client - you may not be able to access all parts of the PokerStars.net game software, usually if something is region-specific and for users in that country only.
