The PokerStars.net Big Game
Qualify as a Loose Cannon for free!
The PokerStars.net Big Game is TV’s most exciting high-stakes cash game show, and you can be a part of it for free by playing in the Big Game qualifier tournaments running now. Make it a Loose Cannon qualifier and you’ll win a seat in the Las Vegas cash game to play against the legends of poker, with $100,000 from us to sit down with. Best of all, whatever profit you make, you get to keep.
How to Play
PokerStars.net players in the USA and Canada can play in any of the free Round 1 Big Game qualifiers, running four times a day. Finish in the top 300 and you’ll advance to Round 2. Make it there and finish in the top 1,000 for a place in the Finals.
Then, if you finish in the top 200 of any Big Game Final Round, we’ll ask you to send us a video, telling us why you think you should be a Loose Cannon on poker’s biggest TV show. Manage to impress us and you’ll be heading to Vegas to play alongside Daniel Negreanu, Vanessa Rousso and many more.
But getting there won’t be easy. We want only the best players to make it on to the show, so you’ve got to prove you have the skills to make it in the big leagues and battle against the best players in the world. This is the ultimate poker challenge, and you could make it there for free.
To register for a Big Game Round 1 qualifier, open the PokerStars.net lobby, click ‘Tourney’ & ‘Regional’. Then look for tournaments listed as ‘Big Game’.
How the TV show works
PokerStars.net will buy you in to the live cash game for $100,000 if you make it as a Loose Cannon - and you get to keep any profit you make above this amount. One Loose Cannon will play every episode against the stars of poker for huge sums of cash. If you finish the session up, you’ll be asked to come back for the next one to play for more money. This is your chance to challenge the best names in poker, so don’t miss out on being part of the biggest thing to happen to TV poker for years.
Practice your cash game
The online qualifiers are played as tournaments, but the TV show will be a cash game - so you’ll need to be a skilled cash player to make it big. If you don’t play cash games that often, why not sit down at one of PokerStars ring game tables and practice your skills now.
