Five Steps to Qualify for the Million Dollar Challenge TV Show
- Download the free poker software (if you don’t already have it)
- Play a free-to-enter qualifier poker tournament (running four times daily) on PokerStars.net
- Finish in the top 20 to be pre-qualified for TV casting
- Read your winners email and follow the instructions on how to submit your audition video
- Submit the two minute video telling us why you should play for $1,000,000 Pot on FOX
You can find the Million Dollar Challenge qualifier tournaments by opening the PokerStars.net lobby and clicking ‘Tourney’ and ‘Regional’. They will be listed as ‘FOX - PS Million Dollar Challenge [North America]’. Simply scroll to locate the qualifiers, running every evening at 20:00, 21:00, 22:00 and 23:00 ET until December 8.
Play a Million Dollar Challenge Freeroll
Play any of the Million Dollar Challenge daily freerolls - running four times per day until December 8, 2010 - and finish in the top 20. Make it through and you’ll be asked to submit a short video, telling us why you think PokerStars should send you to star in poker’s most exciting show. Impress us and you could be heading off to Las Vegas to play in front of the cameras for life-changing money. You can even bring along two poker buddies to cheer you on!
Go Heads-up with Daniel ‘KidPoker’ Negreanu for $100K!
You’ll then get to play in a series of heads-up poker matches on TV against Team PokerStars Pros and other celebrity poker players. You’ll have Daniel Negreanu on hand to give you expert coaching and help you advance while collecting up to $25,000 along the way. Then it's time to make a decision. Should you take the money and run, or play against Daniel for the chance to win a guaranteed $100,000?
Beat Daniel Negreanu for a chance at $1,000,000
Beat Daniel and you’ll get a shot at playing for the $1,000,000 first prize. It’s a true test of poker skill and the chance of a lifetime. Mike Kosowski won the $1,000,000 first prize in Season 1 and now you could be the next big winner. Poker doesn’t get much bigger than this, and you can qualify for free.
