PokerStars is sponsoring the Empire State Hold’em Championship this August, and players in North America can qualify for free! There are free-to-enter satellites running now that give you the chance to win prize packages that include your buy-in to the $2,500 Main Event from August 14-18, plus six nights hotel accommodation for two and money for expenses.
The festival starts on August 8, with 24 events taking place across two weeks of action - including bounty tournaments, deep-stack turbos and cash games available around the clock. It all takes place at the Turning Stone Casino Resort Hotel in Verona, New York. The venue offers luxury rooms, fine dining, a wide selection of casino games, a PGA-standard golf course and much more. On August 13th, discover the art of poker strategy by game theory expert Vanessa Rousso and join her at her renowned Boot Camp. There are free-to-enter satellites for the PokerStars.net Empire State Poker Championship Main Event running now, with prize packages up for grabs in each. To register, open the PokerStars.net lobby, click ‘Tourney’ & ‘Regional’.

Please Note: Registration for each event opens one hour prior to the start. Please arrive at registration 30 mins before the start of the tournament. Players must have a ‘Diamond Card’ Players Club card and valid ID to register and play. 3% of each prize pool will be withheld for tournament staff.
