The PokerStars.net Canada Cup I is a brand-new event where you get to play online for a place in the live final being held as part of the 2012 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA) in The Bahamas! There’s a $250,000 prize pool to play for, and the winner will also be awarded a seat in the $25,000 PCA High Roller event. It’s completely free to enter, and all you to do to be in with a shot is make it to the online final. 

Freeroll Qualifiers

There are free-to-pay qualifiers running online from September 26, with seats to the online final up for grabs. There are ten seats in total, and you can play every night at 19:00 ET and 21:00 ET.

To find the PokerStars.net Canada Cup I qualifiers and register, open the lobby and go to the Tourney > Regional tab.

Online Final

The online final runs on Sunday, October 23 at 17:30 ET, with a $250,000 prize pool. The action will be paused when a final table of nine players is reached, with the tournament then re-starting at the PCA on January 9, 2012.

Live Bahamas Final

Everyone who makes it to the nine-handed final table online will be awarded a prize package that includes flights to The Bahamas, luxury hotel accommodation and money for expenses!

The live final is where you get to play for your share of the $250,000 prize pool, plus the winner’s trophy. The new Champion will also walk away with a seat for the PCA High Roller event worth an additional $25,000, and there will even be TV cameras there to film the action!

Each player’s starting stack will be the same as what they had when the action online was paused. This means you should try to get as many chips as possible during the online final, as the more you have, the better your chance of winning the live final.
