Qualification takes place online, where you can play in daily freerolls to earn points for your country. A total of 10 nations from around the Americas will compete in a series of qualification matches. The top six countries will automatically qualify for the live final, where they’ll be joined by another two teams who will win their place via the play-offs. The play-offs will take place online at the end of the qualification period.

The final will be held at the stunning Iguazu Falls in May. It’s a beautiful location, and the perfect place to try and win some serious cash. Don’t miss out on your chance to play for the pride of your homeland!

How it works

Players in the nine countries listed below have the chance to help their nation make it to the live final: USA, Mexico, Canada, Colombia, Chile, Venezuela, Peru, Brazil and Argentina. Don’t worry if your team is not listed, all other countries are invited to play as ‘Rest of LATAM’, taking the total number of teams to 10.

All 10 countries will play against each other over five weeks of freeroll matches. The top 100 finishers in each tournament will score points (see below for how points are awarded), and the country with the most points will win that match. You’ll be playing to score points for your nation, but more importantly for yourself, because the top four players who score the most points for each country will represent their country at the live final. Full schedule information is listed below. To register for a freeroll, open the PokerStars lobby, click ‘Tourney’ and ‘Regional’.
