Get Started Playing Poker at PokerStars for Mac users

Playing at PokerStars couldn’t be easier. To get started, first click DOWNLOAD POKERSTARS.NET. It’s the safest and most secure poker software available on the Internet and it’s totally free.

Now follow the steps below – these will allow you to complete installation of the PokerStars software. This installation should be trouble free, but if you do experience any difficulties, e-mail support@pokerstars.net with any questions you may have.

STEP 1 - Download the PokerStars software

First click on the DOWNLOAD then click “Save File”. The software will now download to your desktop.

STEP 2 - Install the software

Once the download is completed, the Installer should launch automatically and you will be guided through the process of installing the software.
If this does not launch automatically, see the steps below.

After installation completes, the PokerStars client will launch and you can proceed to Step 4.

If the Installer does not launch automatically after the download completes, please open the PokerStarsInstallPM.pkg file in your Downloads folder (or on your desktop).

After opening the file you will find a PokerStarsInstallPM in the same folder. Open PokerStarsInstallPM and you will be presented with the installation process described above.

STEP 3 - Launch the PokerStars software

If PokerStars did not launch automatically, double-click on the PokerStars icon in your Applications folder. The PokerStars software will now launch on your desktop.

STEP 4 - Create your personal account

To create your free PokerStars account, select "Create Account" from the "Account" menu in the PokerStars lobby. Fill in the necessary fields on the registration form. Be sure to enter a valid e-mail address so we can send you the required validation code.

STEP 5 - Validate your account

After you register, you will receive a validation code at the e-mail address with which you registered. To validate your account, select "Validate Email Address" from the "Account" menu in the PokerStars lobby. Enter the code you received in your e-mail and press "Validate". Now, you are ready to play!.
