Affiliate Accounts Manager for Latin America

An experienced affiliate accounts professional with at least 3 years experience in his or a similar management experience is required, to work from our offices in Costa Rica.

Responsibilities will be varied and include:

  • managing existing top-level accounts in the region
  • recruiting new affiliates to the company within established guidelines
  • creating and managing promotions and programs to enhance retention and loyalty of existing referred players
  • working with other departments (CRM, FP&A, Country Managers) to determine best practices

Payments Product Manager

A new and challenging position has been created for a Payments Product Manager to join our busy team in the Isle of Man.

Primary Functions:

  • Develop actionable work plans to support the build, launch and implementation of new payment methods and tools.
  • Perform pre-studies and research to define business needs and priorities for new payments products and tools.
  • Create standard training templates and implementation guides that will be used to understand and resolve customer issues with respect to payment processors and payment methods.
  • Analyze and specify changes needed in workflow processes and tools of Payments Services operational department and support.
  • Translate payment product and tool needs into functional requirements and business product specifications.
  • Track and communicate all product related issues, bugs and change requests to technology department for implementation.
  • Monitor and report on status of payment development plans and achievements within agreed formats and timescales.

Communication:

  • Liaise with Sr. Payments Product Manager to contribute to the development of all payments strategies, requirements for payments products, infrastructure tools and functional oversight of primary products.
  • Liaise with technology development, payment services, finance and payment support to develop actionable work plans and definable product specifications.
  • Liaise with product related payment suppliers to handle tracking of issues and other aspects of business relationship.
  • Communicate with payment services and support departments to receive feedback on payment methods and to provide support.
  • Liaise with other functional/department managers to understand all necessary aspects and needs of payments staff training and development, and to ensure payments staff are fully informed and trained to meet the objectives as set by Payments Product Management.

Knowledge Management:

German Customer Service Representatives

Translate documents and templates from English to the German language
Respond to customer requests and enquiries in German

PokerStars Poker Support Specialists will be part of the PokerStars Support Team, handling a wide variety of support issues relating to answering e-mails about account issues, providing information about games, assisting players in depositing and withdrawing funds, managing accounts, technical issues, and much more. The Poker Support Specialist will also use their extensive experience in poker and game theory to investigate possible instances of collusion, all-in abuse, or other violations of game rules at PokerStars.

The applicant for work in Australia must be a legal resident of that country and available to work at our offices in Sydney. Shifts will be at varying hours of the day and days of the week, up to 44 hours per week.

Customer Service Representative - Technical Specialist (London, UK and Sydney, Australia)

PokerStars is looking for someone who is "proud to be a geek" with excellent professional writing skills and very broad technical knowledge/experience to work as a Technical Specialist from our London and Sydney offices.

PokerStars Technical Specialists will be part of the PokerStars Support Team. You will handle a wide variety of standard support issues such as account issues, providing information about games, assisting players in depositing and withdrawing funds, managing accounts, and much more. The Technical Specialist will also handle escalated issues of an advanced or complex technical nature. The role of Business Development Analyst will cover a wide area of the business development cycle. By researching the payment solutions available you will have an in-depth knowledge of both global and regional solutions. Estates and Facilities Manager (Isle of Man)

To oversee the requirements of the Board relating to all aspects of PokerStars properties. To Liaise with external Property Managers and provide related advice to Office Managers in all aspects of PokerStars properties, e.g. maintenance; fire precautions; security; building regulation and legal requirements; health and safety. Manage projects relating to acquiring new or additional office space.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the maintenance of all PokerStars operational and administrative buildings.  The preparation and monitoring of commercial contracts for building, electrical, mechanical and security services work on PokerStars offices.  Managing building, electrical, mechanical and security contractors.  Preparing budgets, submission of business plans, controlling budgets. Setting and managing quality standards.
  • Overseeing and planning all in conjunction with local office managers future needs for space.  Project management of space related projects, e.g. new premises and refurbishments. Interfacing with architects and industry consultants on building related issues.  Preparation of planning and building regulation applications where needed.
  • Estates Management.  Management of PokerStars estate portfolio including rent & rate reviews, leasing agreements and PokerStars representative as landlord on sub- tenancy agreements.  Conduct lease v’s buy analysis with regards to existing and prospective facilities.
  • Development of long term facilities strategy for the Group considering options such as if the company should continue to lease or buy or a combination of both depending on the jurisdiction.
  • Liaise with Group Treasurer to evaluate appropriate insurance needs for the facilities and occupants.
  • The communication of H&S policies to ensure the welfare, health and safety of staff and cascading of the company information, targets and performance to the team.
  • To liaise with office managers regarding H&S policy and requirements within PokerStars.
  • To manage the review process of all PokerStars Safety documents and procedures
  • Management of PokerStars physical security.  Advising office managers on physical security matters.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

    • PAT, DSE, HSE legislation. Building regulations, IEE Regulations, fire precautions, British Standards, National Fire Prevention Association standards.
    • In addition you must demonstrate the ability to become proficient in building standards across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Detailed knowledge of estates management, property and tenancy law:

The Dutch PokerStars Blogger will serve as PokerStars’ chief writer and blogger in the Netherlands.  The perfect candidate for this part-time position will be based in the Netherlands and should be able to speak and write in both Dutch and English.

Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge of poker rules and theory
  • Previous poker and creative writing experience
  • Experience with computers and blogging software
  • A personal computer

Responsibilities

  • Translate blog posts from English to Dutch
  • Create original blog stories about the Dutch poker community
  • Generate original stories and interviews
  • Report on live poker events in the Netherlands

Bloggeur Francais

Le bloggeur français de PokerStars aura pour rôle celui de rédacteur en chef/bloggeur pour PokerStars en France. Le candidat idéal pour ce poste à mi-temps sera basé en France et doit être en mesure de parler et d’écrire à la fois en français et en anglais.

Conditions requises

  • Connaissance approfondie des règles et de la théorie du poker ;
  • Expérience en création littéraire et rédaction sur le poker ;
  • Expérience en informatique, en particulier avec les logiciels utilisés pour les blogs ;
  • Doit posséder son propre ordinateur.

Responsabilités

  • Traduction des blogs de l’anglais vers le français ;
  • Création de blogs originaux concernant la communauté de poker française ;
  • Entretiens et reportages originaux ;
  • Reportages en direct des tournois de poker live en France.

Rémunération
