- What is the PokerStars.net North American Poker Tour?
- The PokerStars.net North American Poker Tour (NAPT) is a series of major poker tournaments conducted and televised throughout North America.
- When and where are the NAPT Season 2 events taking place?
- The NAPT will visit the following locations in Season 2. Look out for more events being announced soon.

- All NAPT main events are No-Limit Texas Hold'em.
- What is the buy-in for NAPT events?
- The buy-in differs for each main event, but most are around $5,000. For more details please check www.napt.com.
- Is there an agreement I need to sign to appear in an NAPT event?
- Yes. A condition of entry into any tournament on the NAPT will be the completion and signing of a TV release form. To see the player waiver form prior to the event, email napt@pokerstars.net.
- Can I play even if I don't sign the agreement?
- No; the release form is a requirement for participation in any NAPT event.
- How old do I have to be to participate?
- The minimum age to play in an NAPT event is established by the host casino.
- How much does it cost to enter?
- There are freerolls running on PokerStars.net that give you the chance to win an NAPT seat for free. To find the freerolls, open the PokerStars.net lobby, click ‘Events’ and ‘Special’ or ‘Events’ and ‘NAPT’. If you fail to qualify and would still like to play in an NAPT event, you may buy directly into a tournament through the host casino. See each specific event page for details.
- I won! What do I do now?
- You will receive an email from PokerStars.net describing the basics of the package and telling you what to do next. You will also receive a "follow up" email just prior to the event.
- My package included spending money. What's that for?
- The spending money is for airfare and other travel expenses.
- Is my food included in the price of the trip?
- No. You will be responsible to cover your own food costs.
- Who is running the NAPT events?
- See the About section on the NAPT site for details.
- Do I need a passport to attend an NAPT event?
- Yes, if you are traveling from abroad you will need a passport - and you will need to present your passport at the casino for entry/registration.
- Do I need a visa to attend an NAPT event?
- You will need to check with the local consulate or your travel agent
- How will I get paid if I win the tournament?
- This will depend on the host casino's own procedures and could be cash, check or bank transfer.
- I have won a PokerStars.net NAPT prize package. Can I bring a guest?
- Yes, if your package includes hotel. Your hotel room will be booked in your name by PokerStars.net for the specified dates. Players who have bought seats direct will need to make their own accommodation arrangements.

- What clothes should I bring?
- Some of the NAPT host casinos have a "smart casual" dress code (eg no sneakers, no vests, no shorts, no ripped jeans). Please see specific event pages on the NAPT site for full details.
- What is the currency in Canada and the USA?
- The CAD (Canadian Dollar) is the currency in Canada and the USD (US Dollar) is used throughout the USA.

- Will I need special identification to enter casinos in North America?
- Yes. You will need to present your passport. Local residents may be able to present just a driver’s license or other government ID.
- What logos am I allowed to wear?
- If you qualified through a freeroll, you are obliged to wear the PokerStars.net logo exclusively.
The North American Poker Tour has strict rules on the wearing of branded logos by players at NAPT events. See the Rules & Regulations page on the NAPT site for more information. - Will I appear on television?
- Most NAPT events will be televised, including a featured 'show' table, for broadcast on satellite and terrestrial TV channels throughout the world. All NAPT contestants are obliged to sign a TV waiver form before play commences. Any player who does not sign the TV waiver will not be allowed to participate in the tournament.
